All glorious the princess is inside her chamber,

her gown interwoven with gold.

In robes many-hued she is led to the King,

her virgin companions behind.

They are led along with joy and gladness

as they enter the King's palace.

 

In place of your fathers, your sons there shall be,

whom you will make lords of all lands.
